Kinomos

Designed and operated the deployment infrastructure supporting the Kinomos platform.

Production Infrastructure & DevOps

Built and maintained the production infrastructure and deployment environment for Kinomos, a Django/Wagtail-based web platform. I handled infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, containerized deployment, reverse proxying, TLS, databases, background workers, and production troubleshooting.

The environment combined Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation with Docker Compose for application orchestration, running Django/Wagtail, PostgreSQL, Valkey, and Celery behind Nginx. I also worked on deployment reliability, environment and secret management, HTTPS/Certbot configuration, application networking, production debugging, and operational recovery.

The project involved more than getting an application onto a server—it required maintaining a reproducible production environment and diagnosing failures across the full path from Nginx and Docker networking through the application, workers, and persistent services.
